Modern society focuses on very superficial things when you think about it. You may be initially attracted to someone by the way they look, but you develop a relationship with someone you connect with vibrationally. Anyone who goes into a relationship based on looks most likely will not last. It's important to have chemistry and and soul connection, along with friendship, companionship and the right attitude.

Regarding "wise women", perhaps modern society as a whole would like us not to have wisdom and become consumed with inadequacies so we are perpetual consumers. Always seeking youth instead of valuing our own lives and experiences.
